‘Cool’ idea raises money for good cause

Donating to a good cause can now be as easy as buying a bag of ice. An ice machine located in front of Century 21 Island View Realty in Navarre has been bought by Horizons-The Arc of the Emerald Coast, which is an advocacy organization based in Fort Walton Beach for citizens of all ages with disabilities such as downs syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism and spina bifida.
Navarre resident Heath Bechtel grabs a bag of ice from the ice machine in the parking lot of the Century 21 office on Hwy 98 across from Navarre Park. Proceeds from the ice machine benefit an advocacy organization for citizens with mental disabilities.
