Precautionary boil water notice rescinded in Navarre

The precautionary boil water notice handed down earlier this week for parts of Navarre has been rescinded.

Holley-Navarre Water System is pursuing a project to bring sewer to homes in the Tom King Bayou area of Navarre.

According to Holley-Navarre Water System, the Aug. 23 notice was rescinded Aug. 25 following the satisfactory completion of the bacteriological testing showing that the water is safe to drink.

The notice was sent out to residents & businesses in the following areas:

  • Pawnee Drive from East River Drive to Timber Lane
  • Quail Roost Drive from Pawnee Drive to Panhandle Drive, including El Dorado Court
  • Timber Lane from Pawnee Drive to Panhandle Drive, including Ranch Drive
