A 34-year-old Idaho woman was fatally injured when she stepped out in front of a vehicle while crossing Highway 98 in Navarre.
The accident occurred at around 8 p.m. Friday night near Walgreens and the Elevate Navarre area.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a 58-year-old woman from Laurel Hill, Florida, was driving a van eastbound on Highway 98 approaching Sea Pines Lane. The woman from Idaho was crossing 98 from the north side, and walked directly into the path of the van.
No injuries were reported from the driver of the van.
