The Holley-Navarre Water System Board voted April 15 to reduce the tap fees for a new hibachi restaurant opening up in the site of the former Hancock Bank on Navarre Parkway.
During the board’s meeting, system engineer Buck Paulchek recommended reducing the tap fees for owner Roxanne Lee by more than half of the initial estimated tap fees for her 91-seat restaurant.
“She told me that there was no way she used that kind of water,” Paulchek said. “She provided me with her water bills from a similar size and same type of restaurant she owns in Andalusia, Ala.”
