Nikko Japanese Steakhouse owners blame closing on public reaction to alleged poisoning

A Pace restaurant linked to the nonfatal poisoning of seven people announced Friday that it has closed permanently after being “brutally harassed” by news outlets and social media.
Workers removed signage from the façade of Nikko Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar at 4510 Highway 90 in Pace last week. The company’s owners on Friday announced the business is closing.
