Grant will help Y programs for kids with special needs

Darden-mugThe Betty J. Pullum Family YMCA in Navarre will receive $10,000 as part of its partnership with the National Inclusion Project, which will allow children with disabilities to feel more included and comfortable during after school programs.

“This grant will go to funding resources, improvements and training for children with special needs that come to the child care programs and summer camps here,” said Jenny Darden, child care director.
