UPDATED: Teen failed to see dump truck, pulled out in front of it

| Wendy Victora Rudman

A 17-year-old Gulf Breeze teen has been cited for a Tuesday morning accident that tied up traffic on U.S. Highway 98 in the Tiger Point area.

The boy turned right from Central Parkway onto the highway, failing to notice a loaded dump truck in that lane. The truck driver, a 47-year-old man from Milton, tried to avoid hitting the teen’s vehicle, but struck the car anyway before overturning.
