This May brought the first days of summer heat. It also brought termites.

In Florida, termites generally swarm between April and July. Florida is inside Termite Infestation Probability Zone 1, the highest-risk category for termites in the United States.

Termites swarming. Each spring and summer, termites reproduce and congregate across the Southeast with the aim of spreading their colonies.
