United Way of West Florida celebrates 100 years, names board of directors for next year

The United Way of West Florida has spent the past eight months celebrating a major milestone in its history. Originally known as “Community Chest” of Pensacola, the United Way of West Florida is 100 years old this year. Since Spring 2019, the United Way of West Florida has served Santa Rosa and Escambia counties.
Laura Gilliam, CEO of United Way of West Florida, and David Peaden, external affairs manager for Florida Power & Light in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. FPL was given recognition for their support of UWWF’s work in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
