Two Navarre residents killed in Bay County motorcycle accident

Two Navarre residents were killed on Oct. 13 when a motorcycle and a pick-up truck hit head-on on State Road 20 in Bay County. According to the report from Florida Highway Patrol, a Ram 1500, driven by a 46-year-old man from Milton, crossed the center line while navigating a right curve. The front portion of the Ram collided with the front portion of the Harley Davidson, driven by a 50-year-old male from Navarre with a 52-year-old female passenger from Navarre also riding.

According to the report from Florida Highway Patrol, a Ram 1500, driven by a 46-year-old man from Milton, crossed the center line while navigating a right curve. The front portion of the Ram collided with the front portion of the Harley Davidson, driven by a 50-year-old male from Navarre with a 52-year-old female passenger from Navarre also riding.

The Ram ran off the roadway onto the north grass shoulder. The Ram entered the north tree line where it came to final rest facing northeast. The Harley Davidson was redirected southeast. The driver and the passenger of the Harley Davidson became unseated and tumbled southeast on the roadway.

The driver of the Ram truck suffered minor injuries, according to the report.
