The injured individuals were transported by ambulance to HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital for treatment.
Okaloosa County Medical Services, Eglin AFB Emergency Medical Services and the Eglin Explosive Ordinance Disposal team responded to the incident.
According to the 96th Test Wing Office of Public Affairs, damage was confined to the High Explosive Research and Development Facility. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
