Two dogs saved, one dog dies in Navarre house fire

Homeowners on Rue La Fontaine gathered around in horror Friday, June 7, as one of their neighbors’ homes went up in smoke. Three dogs were inside the house at the time of the fire. Two were rescued and one perished. The house in question is located at 1913 Rue La Fontaine.
Holley Navarre Fire District, Midway Fire District, Florosa Fire District, and Navarre Beach Fire Rescue District responded to a blaze at 1913 Rue La Fontaine Friday, June 7. No people were injured in the fire, but one dog was killed.
