Effort just not enough for Navarre in loss to Mosley

Even with the game nearly over, the time on the clock inching toward the two-minute mark of the fourth quarter, Navarre clung to a sliver of hope on this mild October Homecoming night at Bennett C. Russell Stadium.

Chants of defense filled the Raider sideline, the players on that side of the ball coming up with another big second-half stop on fourth down to keep hope alive of an improbable comeback.

Raider boys golf team pushes forward despite limited practice time

Brandon Rosendale paced Navarre in a match against Gulf Breeze last week at Tiger Point, shooting a 43. Drew Ottley carded a 46 and Brady Nevius shot a 47. Preston Lam checked in with a 53.

Navarre head coach Clark Brown said one of the biggest challenges for his team has been the limited practice time the team has had due to issues with the course flooding at Hidden Creek.

Scott Murphy has done a bit of everything as Navarre AD

Scott Murphy knew when he was in college the odds were stacked against him to one day play Major League Baseball.

But while playing college ball at Tulane, the current Navarre High School Athletic Director had a chance to pitch against future big leaguers and jokes that he played a part in their ability to make it as a pro, including San Francisco Giants great Will Clark.
