The first year of Soundside High School also marks the beginning of its Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program.
AFJROTC is a military-sponsored program available to high school students. Under federal law, JROTC programs are intended to instill the values of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment.
