Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office stops use of Flock cameras after state revokes permits

Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson directed the Sheriff’s Office to stop using Flock cameras after the Florida Department of Transportation revoked permits allowing local law enforcement agencies to place the cameras along state roads.

Sheriff Bob Johnson of the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office (SRCSO) issued a statement following the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) decision to revoke automated license plate reader permits and order the removal of Flock ALPR cameras.
