Navarre Montessori Academy meets children where they are at

Choosing an early education program is one of the most important decisions a parent makes. Make the choice that is right for your child, and your family. If you believe that education should be hands-on, encourage independence, and teach children to love learning, Navarre Montessori Academy (NMA) is for you.

Kiani Richardson in the founder and director of Navarre Montessori Academy, which is the only bilingual Montessori school in the area with Montessori credentialed teachers. English as well as Spanish is taught to all students.

NMA provides a positive, secure learning environment for young children starting at 18 months and expanding to include first to third grade, starting June 12. Enrollment is now open for the upcoming school year.

Currently NMA has nine openings in preschool, 15 openings for toddlers and 11 openings for 1-3rd grade.

The admission process starts with a tour of the academy. Come see for yourself why parents choose Navarre Montessori Academy.

They will be moving into their new location at 9540 Navarre Parkway this summer. The new space is double the size of their last building. They had 1,800 square feet and the new location will be 3,600 square feet and located conveniently right off U.S. Highway 98.

“We have grown to expand to 3rd grade,” Kiani said. “We want to keep growing up to 12th grade eventually.”
Navarre Montessori Academy has welcomed new teachers to help with their recent expansion.

One of them is toddler teacher Mrs. Tina Laubach, who has 10 years of experience and is Montessori-trained from an accredited institution.

Navarre Montessori Academy’s new location will open just in time for their annual summer camp, which starts June 12 and ends July 20. The camp takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and extended care for those enrolled is offered from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Every Thursday is Water and Pizza Day.

This educational but fun camp continues the Montessori early education experience for those enrolled in Montessori and gives a new experience to those new to the environment. The summer program is meant for students and non-students and offers a variety of programs appropriate to your child’s age, stamina, and ability.

This isn’t just another summer camp. The focus is to provide a variety of fun challenges for your child, providing them with new activities and opportunities to learn new skills – all while having a blast. The camp develops and encourages your child’s individuality and natural curiosity to explore and learn.

Their Montessori approach to summer combines physical and emotional development with exciting endeavors involving art, music, science, culture, and more.

For students not currently enrolled in NMA and who are applying for the school year, a week of camp will be the trial time for your child to decide on the admission in fall.
