Mental health resources available to students, families in Santa Rosa County

Santa Rosa County District Schools is recognizing National Suicide Prevention Month this September by connecting families with the mental health resources they may need.

In a flyer handed out by the school district, the district lists FortifyFL, P3 – Crimestoppers Speakout Santa Rosa, Lakeview Center mobile response team, 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, BRAVE and Hope For Healing as resources which can help connect people to mental health assistance.

FortifyFL and P3 – Crimestoppers Speakout Santa Rosa are apps which act as tip lines for crime, school threats and mental health emergencies. To report through P3, contact 850-437-STOP or download the app.

Lakeview can be contacted at 866-517-7766 and the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline can be reached at 988.
