Manta ray visits Navarre Beach Fishing Pier multiple times in May
April showers, bring May… sightings of Manta Rays?
Okay, that’s not exactly the saying, but during the month of May, Navarre Beach visitors had the opportunity to catch a glimpse of a Giant Manta Ray on at least two separate occasions.
Giant Manta Rays can be found in Gulf waters, including off Navarre Beach. In May, there were at least two times that a Giant Manta Ray swam near the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier and shoreline. (Submitted photos courtesy of Bebe Booth)
