Illustrator sparks student creativity

Children’s book illustrator Michael P. White said the greatest artistic advice he ever received was to take his eraser and throw it away.

Monday he shared that lesson with the students of Holley Navarre Intermediate School as part of their Literacy Week celebration. Librarian Morgan Evans said they brought White in as part of this year’s theme: Spreading Literacy, One View at a Time.
