As an intern, your duties may include:
- Food preparation & habitat maintenance
- Assisting with veterinary procedures (medications, wound care, and more)
- Assisting with stranding response and rehabilitation tasks
Requirements to be in the program include:
- Completed at least one year of undergraduate schooling
- Commitment to 3-4 days a week, 8:30am-5:00pm, for a 3-month period (weekend and holiday coverage expected)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork and public speaking skills
- Background in biology and familiarity with stranding response (preferred)
