Former Navarre Beach Fire and Rescue District Chief Danny Fureigh reportedly violated probation for the second time in less than a month.

According to a Milton Police Department arrest report, on May 19, Fureigh made contact with Santa Rosa County Probation office in Milton to meet with his probation officer, Nina Wilkins. According to her affidavit, Fureigh tested positive for alcohol and admitted to drinking Michelob Ultra Zero. The affidavit states that there were three empty cans of White Claw and one empty can of Surfside Iced Tea and Lemon+Vodka found in a cooler bag in his vehicle, in violation of his probation.

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office jail information says Fureigh was booked on May 19 at 2:20 p.m. There is no release date or time, indicating he remains in jail and no bond is listed.

The first violation of probation occurred April 30, when Fureigh reported failed a drug test administered by the probation office. The test finding was positive for cocaine. Fureigh was originally arrested on a DUI charge on Sept. 9, 2025. Charges were later reduced to reckless driving.
