According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, a pickup truck carrying six passengers collided with an SUV at the intersection, then struck trees and overturned.
Two occupants of the pickup truck, a 19-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, were pronounced dead at the scene. The report states both were ejected from the vehicle.
Three other passengers in the pickup truck were reported in serious condition, and one was listed in critical condition. The driver of the SUV was also in critical condition.
