Now, with Brandon Lucht officially earning his building contractor’s license on May 14, 2026, Dirt Boyz is poised for its biggest leap yet.
“The process is definitely a commitment,” Brandon explained. “It starts with meeting the state requirements, completing the application process, studying for the exams, and putting in a lot of hours preparing.” The exam itself is no small task, covering areas such as building codes, construction practices, project management, safety, and business operations. “It takes dedication,” he added, “but it’s worth it knowing it allows us to better serve our customers and grow the company the right way.”
That new credential opens the door to a much broader range of services. While Dirt Boyz has become well-known for landscaping, fencing, and outdoor projects, the contractor’s license allows the team to step into larger, more complex work.
“This opens up a whole new level of what we can offer,” Brandon said. “We’ve always been focused on helping homeowners, but now we can take on larger construction projects and handle more complete home transformations. It allows us to expand while keeping the same quality, communication, and trust our customers expect.”
For the Dirt Boyz team, that expansion is about more than just growth – it’s about delivering a more complete experience. Instead of coordinating multiple contractors, homeowners can now rely on one trusted team from concept to completion.
Brandon says he’s especially excited about tackling bigger, more involved projects. “Things like additions, renovations, remodels, structural improvements, and larger home upgrades are what we’re really looking forward to,” he shares. “Being able to help customers from the first idea all the way through completion is something we’re excited about.”
