Deaf luncheon group fosters connection across Northwest Florida

Fifty deaf people walk into a restaurant. It sounds like the start of a joke, but it is actually a common sight each month at restaurants across Northwest Florida.

The 50 people are part of a luncheon group called 50 North Deaf Seniors. “50 North” refers to the age of the members, 50 and older.

The 50 North Deaf Seniors group meets monthly at restaurants across Northwest Florida. In this picture, they are at Stripes Pub & Grill in Navarre.
