Jameson Ray Willis had been put down for a nap but managed to get out of the house, which was locked and barricaded to prevent him from wandering off, his foster parent told Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office.
The foster dad and his daughter searched the property, before finding the little boy in a pond. His foster dad began CPR on the child, who was taken by helicopter to Sacred Heart Hospital. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating but said preliminary reports indicate it was an accidental drowning.
