An artificial reef honoring political activist Charlie Kirk was deployed off Okaloosa County earlier this month. Kirk was murdered last year during a debate event in Utah.
The 18-ton, 20-foot-tall concrete reef structure, which resembles a pyramid, sits beneath 80 feet of water and will serve as a reminder of some of the values Kirk stood for.
