Raider boys soccer season ends in district semifinal round

Navarre’s boys soccer season ended Friday with a 4-0 loss to Niceville in the semifinal round of the District 1-6A tournament at the Ashton Brosnaham Complex in Pensacola.

Regional girls weightlifting meets are set to take place this week and there is no shortage of area lifters who will compete for the right to go state.
Pace hosts the Region 1-3A meet on Thursday, with the host Patriots, Navarre and Milton all competing there. Jay and Central head to North Bay Haven on Friday for the Region 1-1A meet.

Abi Hackl made back-to-back 3-pointers in the third quarter of Navarre’s girls basketball game against Pace, firing up her teammates and the crowd as the Raiders extended their lead against the Patriots.
Hackl is a role player, so she doesn’t normally grab the spotlight. But this was her time to shine and she made the most of it in a 59-37 win.
