He wasn’t wrong. Jones is headed to state for the first time and will compete with the Raiders next Thursday in the FHSAA 3A meet at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland.

Kelly is one of the Raiders’ all-time greats on defense and played at three different schools at the college level, starting his career at Colorado State and ending it at Michigan State. He also spent a season at Florida State.
