Michael Carter played in the 20th game of his NFL career Sunday afternoon and helped the New York Jets beat the Green Bay Packers 27-10 at Lambeau Field.
Carter rushed for 41 yards and had at least one catch for the sixth consecutive game as the Jets extended their win streak to three games.
Ninth-ranked Argos dominate Shorter
Scoring on eight of its 11 possessions, the University of West Florida football team rolled past Shorter 50-26 Saturday afternoon at Barron Stadium.

Its jump from seventh to fifth was fueled by its 38-35 road win over Mosley last week.
District tournament bracket set in volleyball
Navarre’s road to its first district championship in volleyball in program history begins next Tuesday when the Raiders host Pace in a 6 p.m. District 1-6A semifinal match.
The Raiders are the second seed in the tournament and the Patriots are seeded third. The two teams met once during the regular season, with Navarre winning in four sets.
Former Navarre standout Abbey Nebarez fuels new passion for coaching
Abbey Nebarez gets up off the bench during a timeout and talks with the Navarre Raider volleyball players, providing them with insight that once proved valuable to her as a player.
Nebarez, once a familiar sight on the court for the Raiders, now finds herself in a coaching role, and she loves the opportunity she has to be an assistant this season to her former head coach, Ryan Davenport.
Time flies for seniors on the Navarre Raider swim team
Anne-Marie Grant is the perfect example of how fast time has flown for the seniors on Navarre’s swim team.
“Coach Mary (Moorer) taught me how to swim when I was little and here I am now (as a senior),” Grant said.
