Lady Raiders’ lifters take all ten first places at quad meet
The Lady Raider weightlifting team traveled to Milton last Thursday for a quad meet, and once again, the Raiders dominated the competition. The Lady Raiders scored 95, while the second closest team was Gulf Breeze with 30. Pace scored 24 and Milton 4 in the meet. A Raider placed first in all 10 weight divisions. They also placed second in all but two weight divisions.
Raiders shut out Milton and Pine Forest
The Raiders came back from the Thanksgiving break hungry to be back in action. They shut out Milton 8 – 0 last Monday at home in only 40 minutes. The following night, the Raiders shut out Pine Forest 6 – 0 at home.
Raiders Pine Forest and Tate
The Raiders scored an easy 8 – 0 win over Pine Forest on Dec. 3 at home. On Dec.6 they traveled to Tate and shut out the Aggies as well by a 5 – 0 score.
Florida State ranked No. 1 for first time since 2000
Tallahassee – Florida State was voted the No. 1 team in the FBS Sunday for the first time since Oct. 1, 2000. The Seminoles are heavily favored against Duke in the upcoming Atlantic Coast Conference championship game and are 60 minutes from a berth in the BCS title game.
Raider Swim team State Meet update
The Navarre High School Swim and Dive team traveled to the Sailfish Splash Water Park in Stuart to compete in the Florida High School Athletic Association State 3A Swim and Dive meet Nov. 15.
Lady Raiders continue weightlifting domination
The Lady Raider lifters were tested for the first time in an away match win over Pine Forest on Tuesday when they scored a 56 to 33 victory.
Lady Raiders beat the cold, Milton
The Lady Raiders traveled to Milton last Tuesday and blanked the Panthers by a 4 – 0 score. Despite near-freezing temperatures, high winds and rain, the Raiders played well, controlling the game from the first whistle.
NYSA promotes ‘betterment of youth’ and community
Youth sports are a major part of every community, both small towns and big cities. The Navarre Youth Sports Association understands this, and takes serious its role in mentoring the youth of Navarre.
Raiders win home opener
The Navarre Raiders boys basketball team had a strong home opener against W.S. Neal High School Nov. 26 with a 52-42 victory.
