Quentin Randolph is having the time of his life this season with the Vegas Knight Hawks. And that fun is translating to success on the field for the former Navarre Raider.


He ramped that success up to another level on Saturday night, breaking the franchise record for touchdown catches in a season in the final game of the regular season.

Since early June Navarre’s football team has been on the field and in the weight room, dialed in on being ready for the start of the 2025 season.


Now that summer workouts are history and fall camp is underway, the Raiders feel good about the way the past couple of months have gone.

The University of West Florida football team is picked to win the Gulf South Conference this season.

Otis Simmons used to be a custodian at Holley Navarre Intermediate. He was well known among the students and would pop into classrooms on occasion to joke around with them.


More than a decade later, Simmons is still at Holley Navarre, now working as a gym teacher, and he’s also the new basketball commissioner at NYSA.

Nate Hanson didn’t generate a ton of recruiting attention coming out of high school in 2024.


But the former Navarre Raider never fully gave up on his dream of one day playing college football and now he’ll get his shot.

Saturday’s game against Northern Arizona was no exception as the former Navarre Raider helped lead the Vegas Knight Hawks to a 58-29 victory.

Nearly a couple of dozen players are on a football field in Pensacola on a July morning running through plays on both sides of the ball as well as doing some skill work.

Fielding work is the focus of a summer workout for the Navarre Raider baseball team on a sunny and hot Tuesday morning in early July.


Not all of the players are here on this day – several are playing travel ball – but overall, it’s been a productive summer since workouts began in mid-June.

The University of West Florida’s Dalton Neuschwander has been drafted by the Baltimore Orioles.

Marquez White is well established on the defensive side of the ball, and come this season, he’ll be looking to make his mark on offense as well.


White is entering his senior year set to play wide receiver while also staying on defense as a safety instead of a corner.
