Jay Klosinski said it’s no secret why Navarre’s football team is unbeaten through eight games and in control of its own destiny in terms of the District 2-6A championship race.

Navarre’s cross country teams competed in the Esca-Rosa Championship meet Thursday at the Escambia County Equestrian Center in Pensacola. Austin Epstein paced the Raiders as he placed ninth, clocking in with a time of 17:09.

Hasaan Williams has become the go-to running back for the Navarre Raiders.  He took on that role when Michael Carter went down with a knee injury on Sept. 4 and has made the most of his opportunities.

Navarre’s girls golf team closed out its regular season with a victory over West Florida Thursday. Ailsa Clark shot a 34 to pace the Raiders, who carded a 174 as a team. West Florida finished with a 236.

Navarre’s volleyball team has won only three games this season, but the effort the Raiders put forth has never dropped off.

Defense has been a staple of Navarre’s success all season and that didn’t change Friday night in a crucial non-district showdown against Escambia.

MILTON, FL – Joseph Joiner of Milton, FL celebrated his 2015 NeSmith Panhandle Challenge Series Championship with a win in the season finale on Saturday night at Southern Raceway driving the Three Trade Consultants Special.  The victory was Joiner’s third of the season and gave him a season total of 663 points with 13 top five finishes and 14 top ten finishes in 14 races.

It hasn’t taken Quentin Randolph long to notice how different football is in college compared to high school.
