A familiar face is back as the head coach of the Navarre Raider girls lacrosse team as Teddi Koppelberger has returned to coach it.
Koppelberger was the head coach of the program in its inaugural season in 2020, which was cut short by the pandemic, before moving out of the area after the 2021 season.
Raider baseball team falls short against Eagles
Facing a four-run deficit after two innings, Navarre’s baseball team battled back and nearly came up with a season-opening win over Niceville last Tuesday night.
The Raiders got within two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, but the Eagles answered in the top of the seventh and then held off a final-inning rally as Navarre lost 6-3.
Navarre Raider softball team rallies to knock off Choctaw
Hope was fading for Navarre’s softball team, the Raiders down to six outs to make something happen against Choctaw in its season opener Tuesday night.
It was in the bottom of the sixth inning when Navarre came to life offensively, scoring four runs.
