RESTORE funding on horizon
The Santa Rosa County Local RESTORE Council has approved criteria members will use to evaluate projects proposed for funding resulting from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Now the group is working to develop an application through which projects can be submitted, leading up to the anticipated first round of local fund distribution.

Bondi Asks Congress to Fund Anti-Human Trafficking Programs
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and 46 other state and territorial attorneys general are asking Congress to fund programs authorized by the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA). The funding would go toward programs which fight human trafficking in the United States and abroad.
