Longtime Santa Rosa County Administrator Hunter Walker announced plans to retire at the end of the year, and commissioners will soon begin the search to replace him.

Jacqueline Danielle Hicks, 29, of the 8100 block of White Sands Boulevard, was arrested March 28 on third-degree felony charges of drug equipment possession and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription after police stopped a vehicle at the east corner of Harvest Village Court. Hicks was a passenger.
