Starting Oct. 3, thousands of tons of used glass, paper products, plastics and more from Santa Rosa County will once again be collected curbside, processed and sold to be recycled.

Jack D. Messerschmidt, 36, of Laurel Hill, Florida, was arraigned Monday in the U.S. District Court in Pensacola after a federal grand jury returned an indictment charging him with the production and possession of child pornography. The indictment was announced by Christopher P. Canova, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida.
