A self-described environmentalist, Navarre native Emma Bucey noticed that students in her residence hall at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University struggled with how to deal with their recyclables.

Faith Nicholson spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital last year, unsure of what exactly was wrong with her.

“I was in and out for months. It was bad,” Nicholson said. “They kept testing me. My dad had a feeling it might be COVID, but no one could tell.”

The pandemic has made singing in choirs difficult, but Navarre High School Concert Choir was able to host their end of year concert last night – their first concert in more than a year.

Band director Dean Barrow welcomed parents to the Navarre High School Spring Band Concert May 15 at the school gymnasium. Bleachers were filled with friends and families who came out to support their musicians and hear what they’ve been working on all spring.
