Caring & Sharing needs volunteers, shares holiday schedule
Volunteers are needed to help organize and pack food boxes during Caring & Sharing’s Thanksgiving distribution preparation weekend on Friday, Nov. 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
New Healing Paws teams pass test
In a small room at Northwest Florida State College, eight newly trained veterans and their canine partners graduated from training Friday. These new Healing Paws for Warrior teams went through eight weeks of training and passed tests indicating that they were ready to work together.

Milton out-collects Pace in annual canned food drive
Milton High School was the winner in this year’s canned food drive, with students collecting 43,840 pounds of food. Pace High School students collected 20,980 pounds.
