If you walk into a Catholic church on any Friday this month, you might find people cooking and eating fried fish. At St. Sylvester’s Catholic Church in Navarre, parishioners have been filling their stomachs as well as their seats for the past few Fridays.
St. Sylvester’s Catholic Church, like many Catholic churches, serves fish to parishioners on Fridays during Lent, which roughly runs from Ash Wednesday to Easter.
