Robert Boston, 62, faces one count each of trespass with intent to commit an offense and criminal mischief with less than $1,000 in damage, both misdemeanors. Bond was set at $2,000.
According to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, Boston crossed into his neighbor’s property at 3 a.m. on March 25 carrying a ladder. He was naked except for a watch, a headlamp and flip flops. Once on the property, he used the ladder to reach a flood light and ring camera attached to the wall, removed it and left it on the ground.
The removal was forceful enough to pull wiring loose from inside the wall, causing $800 in damages.
The properties are separated by a six-foot privacy fence. According to the report, Boston crossed into his neighbor’s property by walking around the fence at the mean water line, bypassing “No Trespassing” signs on the property.
The neighbor told investigators that this isn’t the first time Boston did this. On Dec. 24, 2025, he went onto her property and turned her flood lights off.
Boston told investigators that the neighbors flood light and ring camera had been malfunctioning for several weeks, according to the report. Security footage and the neighbor both confirmed the nude man walking on the property matched Boston’s driver’s license photo.
Boston is the husband of Santa Rosa County School Board Chair Carol Boston.
