The new space gives shoppers room to browse, linger and take in the store’s ever-changing mix of gifts, décor, jewelry, candles, clothing and seasonal surprises.
A new chapter with
familiar southern charm
Owners Magda and Lisa say the move was inspired by the need for more space—not just for products, but for people. “We wanted a place where our customers could slow down, visit, and truly enjoy the shopping experience,” Magda says. “This new location gives us that. It’s bright, open, and filled with all the things that make Southern Specialty… well, special.”
The expanded store means even more room for the signature items that have made Southern Specialty a favorite destination: boutique-style clothing racks, hand-crafted jewelry displays, the scent of locally poured candles and carefully chosen home décor that can turn any space into something beautiful.
Ribbon cutting celebration and tasty treats:

To celebrate their grand opening, Magda and Lisa are hosting an open-house Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, featuring tasty treats and live demonstrations. “We’re bringing back the jams, jellies and other popular food products that put us on the map in our original location,” Lisa says. Each updated food offering now comes with a QR code linking to delicious recipe variations, making it easier than ever to get creative in the kitchen.
Lisa will be demoing some of her favorite dishes, including a creamy chicken pot pie and what she calls “the pepper jelly that’s to die for.” She adds, “We may break out some other fun treats to feature the pickled green beans and pickled asparagus.” Visitors are encouraged to stop in, sample, and enjoy — because at Southern Specialty, shopping often tastes as good as it looks.
Bigger, brighter and better than ever
The new Highway 87 location offers more space, more parking and more products than ever before. From stylish Consuela bags and E. Newton jewelry to brand-new seasonal décor, the shop is ready for the holidays and beyond. “We’re going big with Christmas this year,” says Magda. “The store is filled with great gifts, stocking stuffers, and beautiful items for everyone on your list.”
And just in time for the season of giving, customers can step into the new Candle and Self-Care Room, a cozy retreat filled with soothing scents, bath products and relaxation essentials. “It was inspired by all of us needing a little self-care,” Magda explains. “We wanted to create a space that encourages people to take care of themselves and their loved ones,” says Lisa.
Southern Specialty has also expanded its children’s and baby section, with adorable new toys, gifts and baby clothes arriving in the spring. “We really wanted to make sure there’s something here for everyone,” said Magda.
