Precautionary water boil notice in Holley

| Staff Reporters
Holley Navarre Water System issued a precautionary water boil notice yesterday for parts of Holley. As of Nov. 6, that notice has been rescinded.

Nov. 5, 2025, HNWS issued a precautionary boil water notice for Holley residents on Grady Tolbert Road between Hwy 87 and Holley Point Road, including Chow Lane, Rose Street, Chase Street, and Emerson Street.

At approximately 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 5, a 6” water main break was reported on Grady Tolbert Road.

Once repairs are completed, as a precaution, HNWS advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and washing dishes be boiled.

Following a bacteriological survey, which showed the system water as safe to drink, the notice was rescinded.

This story has been updated to reflect the rescinding of the boil water notice.
