Tallahassee – Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration quickly appealed a federal judge’s ruling Thursday, Aug. 21, that sided with environmental groups and the Miccosukee Tribe and required winding down operations at a controversial immigrant-detention facility in the Everglades.
