Southern Specialty to move to Coral Door building this September

This September, Southern Specialty will be packing its stylish inventory up and moving one mile northeast to the building that currently occupies The Coral Door and Pak N Fax. The packing and shipping aspect of the previous tenants will be closing, and The Coral Door will transition from retail to exclusive private interior design consultations.
Southern Specialty, on the other hand, will be growing its inventory into a building of their own with multiple rooms. Located at 1981 Highway 87 at the intersection of the highway and Laredo Street, this new space will allow Southern Specialty to expand its horizons.
“We will be open at our new location in September, with minimal time closed the first week of the month,” co-owner Lisa Gambill said. “We will have an open house in October 2025, ensuring we are all settled in and ready with some fabulous new product lines.”
In the meantime, for the next couple of months Southern Specialty will continue to sell their chic outfits and perfect gifts at their current location in Palm Harbour Plaza across from Navarre Publix.
With summer in season and a new store location in the fall, sales are ramping up. The friendly team will tell you all about them when you walk in the door of this darling destination.
Looking for a fresh, colorful outfit for the summer? Or maybe you have some friends’ birthdays coming up that you need to shop for? Look no further than Southern Specialty, a beachy boutique in the heart of Navarre, FL. The store sings style with its trendy accessories, beautiful apparel and home décor.
Shop local from a shop that keeps the locals in mind. Much of their merchandise is made in the USA and most lines are from the south. Some lines are even made right here in Navarre. The Scull Brim Hats are handmade by Navarre native Sally Faulk. These one-of-a-kind brim hats have soul, and each custom creation has a story behind it.
Known for featuring the latest fashions at their boutique, owners and sisters-in law Lisa Gambill and Magda Morton keep Southern Specialty stocked with style. In May, the store celebrated its ninth year in the Palm Harbour Plaza location and 12th year in business.
“We are both super excited to move into our new location,” Lisa said. “We plan on eventually expanding more into baby/children’s gifts and clothing, and home decor and gifts.”
Lisa and Magda love their locals and have a collection of products that display love for the Florida Panhandle. This trendy store is known for its personalized Navarre Beach wall décor, pillows and tumblers that pinpoint the exact location of our beach town.
Their statement Consuela handbags and wallets are made in Austin, Texas. Their collection features colorful designs that will make you stand out with their fun patterns and accent straps, as well as their sparkly interior lining.
Make sure to check out their brand-new vegan leather handbag line Jen & Co. These classic and contemporary, yet affordable, purses and clutches are made to last.
Southern Specialty carries a variety of different brands. They carry affordable dresses and jewelry, as well as well-known brands that people seek out and love.
The boutique recently added two new lines of clothing, Wishlist and Fate, both with their own unique spin on affordable fashion.
Some of the best-selling lines include Z Supply clothing and Enewton jewelry. Enewton is a line of 14-carat gold-filled jewelry that is made in Roswell, Georgia.
The shop also carries a new jewelry line called Madison Sterling Jewelry made in Mississippi. Each pendant necklace is inspired by God’s promises in scripture.
A new line of jewelry that just landed is called Ellie Vail. These stylish earrings and bracelets, which are made from hypoallergenic stainless steel, are designed to be tarnish- resistant and water-resistant.
Luxury soy candles come in many shapes and sizes at Southern Specialty, including brands such as Tyler, Capri Blue, SOI and Bridgewater candles. For every Bridgewater jar candle sold, a child is fed three meals.
Bee Bella Lip Balm is handcrafted by beekeepers and leaves your lips feeling silky smooth. Try other bath and beauty products that are “good for the soul,” as Magda says, such as Wavertree & London Soaps made in Australia, and Lemon Lavender products including a scalp massager, hot and cold body wrap, spa headband, makeup removing towel, detangling comb, comfy slippers and heatless hair curler wraps.
