At around 3:50 this morning (Tuesday, Feb. 4) a 33-year-old Panama City man was killed in an accident on Highway 98 in Navarre near Edgewood Drive. A 68-year-old Milton man suffered serious injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the man from Panama City was driving his truck east on Highway 98 away from Edgewood Drive in the inside westbound lane. The Milton man was driving west on Highway 98 approaching Edgewood Drive in the inside westbound lane. The two trucks collided head on.
The man from Panama City was pronounced dead on scene and the other driver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
