New club spreads patriotism at middle school

In the early morning hours of a Sunday in 1941, the soldiers stationed at the Pearl Harbor naval base in Honolulu, Hawaii, were not expecting an attack.
Students paint Pearl Harbor-themed rocks during the first meeting of the Holley-Navarre Middle School Patriotism Club. These rocks will be hidden for a scavenger hunt Dec. 7.
