Violating the Santa Rosa County zoning code can come back to bite you. No one knows that better than Milton resident Joshua Pittman, who as of Thursday night, June 23, had to shut down his business and sole source of income.
Joshua Pittman’s pickup truck carries the scales necessary to price scrap metal for his business, Pittman Recycling. Pittman refers to the truck as his mobile office. He stopped picking up materials Thursday, June 23, after the Board of County Commissioners denied a conditional use permit for Pittman’s residence.
