THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SANTA ROSA COUNTY, FLORIDA
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING BY COMMUNICATIONS MEDIA TECHNOLOGY
As a result of the public health emergency that exists in the State of Florida as a consequence of the COVID-19 coronavirus, in light of the guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control for the protection of all members of the community, and with the authority granted by Executive Orders issued by Governor Ron DeSantis, including Executive Order 20-69 (Emergency Management—COVID-19—Local Government Public Meetings), The School Board of Santa Rosa County, Florida, gives notice that it will conduct a public meeting using communications media technology. The public meeting will be held on March 9, 2021, at Woodlawn Beach Middle School, 1500 Woodlawn Way, Gulf Breeze, Florida 32561 at 6:30 p.m. A limited number of persons may attend this Board meeting and not more than 50 persons may be present in the meeting room, based on the required social distancing. Should there be additional attendees, then they will be located in separate rooms for viewing the meeting.
The public can participate by watching the meeting via live stream at http://santarosacountysdfl.swagit.com/live and can offer public comment or submit written or other physical evidence by emailing comments or evidence to the following email address DOC@santarosa.k12.fl.us, and placing “Public Comment” in the subject line of the email message, or by mailing comments or evidence to Superintendent Dr. Karen Barber at 6032 Hwy. 90, Milton Fl 32570. All emails and other communications and evidence received by 4:00 pm CST on March 8, 2021 will be provided to Board Members in advance of the meeting and will be posted on the Board’s website along with the minutes of the Board Meeting. The public is advised that all comments and evidence received will be public records.
