WNIS gears up for Month of the Military Child

American Legion Post 382 donated $900 to West Navarre Intermediate March 5 to support the school’s Month of the Military Child celebration in April. Regina Marek, an ESE paraprofessional and member of the legion’s Ladies Auxiliary, and has helped create a partnership between the organization and the school. Marek said a portion of the donation will pay for purple T-shirts for the 310 students whose parents are currently deployed. The rest of the money will be used for purple lollipops for all of the military children in school.
