No Gardasil adverse reactions reported in the county

According to the Center for Disease Control, human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually-transmitted virus in the United States. More than half of sexually active men and women are infected with HPV at some time in their lives.
The vaccine Gardasil protects against four types of the human papillomavirus (HPV), which can cause cervical cancer in women. The Santa Rosa County Health Department clinics and local pediatricians offer the vaccine for boys and girls, typically starting at 11 or 12 years of age.
