WHEREAS, Harry H. Huelsbeck, Jr., petitioned the Board of County Commissioners of Santa Rosa County, Florida, to vacate, abandon, discontinue and renounce any interest and right of the public in and to the following described property to-wit:
THAT PORTION OF POINT SHORES LANE (PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS WISHBONE AVENUE AND CEDAR STREET) LYING SOUTH (BETWEEN THE SOUTHEASTERLY PROJECTIONS OF THE EAST AND WEST LINES) OF LOT 18, BLOCK “E”, OF EVERGREEN SHORES, A SUBDIVISION, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK “A” AT PAGE 68 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF SANTA ROSA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND CONTAINS APPROXIMATELY 5,000 SQUARE FEET.
AND WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners determined to have a public hearing for the purpose of considering the advisability of vacating and abandoning said right of way, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has on this the 25th day of June, 2015, conducted said public hearing in conformity to the said publication of its intent, and
WHEREAS, after hearing all comments concerning said vacation of the above described right-of-way, the Board, being fully advised, and it being determined that the public interest will be best served and protected by vacating and abandoning said right-of-way, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Santa Rosa County, Florida, that the said right-of-way as herein set out and described is hereby vacated and any and all interest to the public shall revert to and be vested in the proper owners thereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners on a vote of 4 yeas, 0 nays, and 1 absent, in regular session, this 25th day of June, 2015.
